Description:

Probably one of the shortest amount of times between an album being released and it getting rated on here so far, bbno$'s titular album is the ninth album he has released and one that I knew I had to check out for myself from the moment I was made aware of its release, and boy, did this thing come in swinging.

What bbno$ provides is a set of many shorter-leaning yet bombastic and catchy songs, with the signature effortless-sounding rap flow and charisma of bbno$ himself being layered on top of a series of high-energy dance beats and instrumentals, some of them sprinkling in elements from genres like Brazilian funk and Latin American music. The tracks are undoubtedly captivating, capture the essence of bbno$ as an artist to a T, have more than enough variation amongst each other so that each one is memorable and has its own energy and personality, and lead to a very enticing and enjoyable listening experience.

He also collabs with a very unexpected guest in the track "eat slay love" in the form of hit Finnish artist and Eurovision legend Käärijä, combining two very different rapping styles, languages and personalities together into one song in a way that feels organic and in line with bbno$'s other output whilst also retaining its "wow" factor. Another collab song is featured in the album, that being "1-800", featuring the voice of popular streamer and VTuber Ironmouse in the chorus - meaning Ironmouse and Käärijä are now one person away from knowing each other, which is not only an absolutely hilarious thought by itself, but also a testament to how wide bbno$'s public social bubble can expand and to the variety of public figures he is able to form connections and collab with.

Overall, this was an album I had a ton of fun with, and bbno$ has now most definitely appeared on my radar of musical artists to follow up on to see what else they have to offer in their discography.
